Installing Git for Windows using Windows Web Platform Installer

Microsoft has released a great way to install a variety of software, from WordPress to Git using an easy simple to use web installer.

I’ve recently started using Team Foundation Service  and Visual Studio 2012, one of the great features is using different source control repositories, giving you endless options to manage source code. In this post I am going to show how easy it is to install Git using Windows Web Platform Installer.

First you would need to download Microsoft Web Platform Installer from  http://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx.
